The Riverside Country Club in Orem, Utah cut the ribbon on a new facility in 2012 that boasts stunning river and mountain views, the state’s most prestigious 18-hole golf course, an expansive pool complex, new restaurants and meeting areas, and an award-winning pro shop.
The clubhouse boasts 42,000 square feet of private banquet and meeting rooms, several restaurants, lounge areas, exquisite locker rooms, and a fitness facility. Since opening the doors of the new clubhouse, the country club has done an average of $1.5 to 2 million dollars in business every year, which means they have a large volume of customers coming through their doors each week.
The Challenge: Durable Chairs Needed
When the new Riverside clubhouse opened, they purchased low-cost dining chairs and club chairs that they thought would suit their needs. But the low-grade furniture didn’t hold up to the daily use by club members and staff. By 2018, it was clear that they needed to do some remodeling and replace all the furniture in their dining areas with more durable pieces.

They decided that the Remy Collection of seating was the perfect fit. For the fine dining area, they choose Remy Armchairs and Remy Side Chairs (without arms). These fine dining chairs are built with solid wood frames made of sustainably sourced European Beechwood, featuring upholstery on the seats and backs. Riverside chose an old world oak wood finish that invites warmth and prestige into the decor.
Stackable Event Seating with Aluminum Frames
Banquet stacking chairs with a faux wood finish were chosen for the banquet and meeting areas, since wooden chairs would be too heavy to move around easily for quick room changes. The banquet chairs stack up to eight chairs high. Classic Chiavari Chairs with an antique feel were chosen for weddings and formal events.
