New York State Museum

The nation’s largest and oldest state museum, the New York State Museum hosts innovative exhibitions and programs that serve more than 600,000 visitors annually.
The past comes to life as the Museum’s permanent exhibitions combine the expertise of curators, historians, archaeologists, geologists, biologists, designers, artists, paleontologists, ethnologists and other professionals to produce outstanding life-size dioramas that recreate moments from history. Many of the Museum’s exhibitions can now be found online at
The Museum comes to life with events often using Mitylite furniture in its event spaces.  Private, government and non-profit events, all in the galleries of the New York State Museum.
