Brandon Ross promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales & Dennis Claspell joins as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Product Management

OREM, Utah — April 30, 2014 — MityLite today announced several promotions and new staffing additions to its sales, product management, and marketing departments.

Among the new positions is the promotion of Brandon Ross to Executive Vice President of Sales. Since joining MityLite in 1997, Ross has led the manufacturer’s tremendous sales growth over the past few years and leads a team that continues to break records each quarter.

The full-spectrum table and chair manufacturer has introduced more than 30 products over the past five years and is on pace to bring to market another seven new products or line extensions in the next year.

Formerly an industrial designer with MityLite, Rich Smith has been appointed Director of Product Design and will manage the global manufacturer’s product development department. Smith contributed to the manufacturer’s growth over the past 10 years, having personally overseen the development of the Reveal Linen-less Table line, and other high-profile projects that involved custom product solutions.

Joining Smith’s team are Matt Pectol and Sterling Maughan, both graduates of the Industrial Design program at Brigham Young University. As MityLite’s senior industrial designer, Pectal brings 10 years in industrial design, having formerly worked for Xi3 Corporation and Metropolis design. Maughan, who joins as an industrial designer, formerly held positions with SitOnIt Seating and Vicore Fitness.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in overseas product development and sourcing is Brigitte Mailloux who joins MityLite as Director of Sourcing. Mailloux has managed relationships with up to 17 foreign factories at once, for companies Express Scripts, Abricot International, American Recreation Products, and sporting goods manufacturers CCM and Rawlings, primarily in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Korea.

Filling a newly created position that combines the management and oversight of MityLite’s sourcing, product management, and marketing functions, Dennis Claspell joins MityLite as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. Claspell hails from Pennsylvania where he most recently held senior marketing roles with Restek and Gilson, both industrial manufacturers.

Bringing sales funnel and customer marketing experience earned during former positions held with Allegiance and Certiport, Jim Meyer joins MityLite’s marketing department as joined Digital Marketing and Lead Generation Manager.
