New Laminate Surfacing Makes Magnattach Flooring a Rock-solid Contender

OREM, Utah — July 28, 2008 — Mity-Lite today announced a new laminate surface option for its custom-sized Magnattach Premier portable dance floor. Mity-Lite has combined the latest laminate surfacing technology from Wilsonart® with a powerful magnetic lock system to make the fastest, easiest to install dance floor on the market even more durable.

Available in three colors—Northern Birch, Black Cherry, and Cherry Rose—the new commercial-grade laminate flooring resists “scuff burns” and is low maintenance.

With the patented Magnattach magnet and steel wedge-lock system, the installer can see that the floor is safely engaged without the use of tools as opposed to “Cam Lock” designs. Moreover, the strong magnets used in the Magnattach floor generate over 400 pounds of locking power. This total design solution means that the floor is installed more quickly, by fewer people, and without the risk of panel separation during use.

Mity-Lite Opens New Office In Germany To Establish Direct European Market Presence

OREM, Utah — June 5, 2008 — Joining a distinguished group of United States companies with offices in Southwestern Germany, Mity-Lite, Inc. today announced the opening of its new sales office and distribution facility in Saarbrücken. Mity-Lite, a leading Western U.S. producer of durable and lightweight tables and chairs, made the announcement during a press conference conducted by gwSaar, the Saarland Economic Promotion Corporation, and attended by Utah delegates and German officials. “Mity-Lite’s decision to locate in Saarland represents strong economic collaboration and smart business development sense,” said Jason P. “There is tremendous opportunity for commercial growth in the EU community,” said Mity-Lite CEO Randy Hales. “Serving as a central transportation hub, this new office in Saarland gives Mity-Lite the ability to quickly mobilize sales and distribution across the European Union.”
Mity-Lite’s new European sales office and distribution facility is anticipated to increase the company’s Utah production and follows a period of strong growth over the past several months. Top international sales executive and 10-year Mity-Lite veteran Alberto Da Silva will manage the new office in Saarland, and will oversee a direct sales operation in Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and Spain. The company will be considering internal and external candidates to fill sales positions in the
EU and the UK. Mity-Lite also intends to hire German and French sales executives, with plans to enhance its market presence in Spain by establishing a dedicated sales presence in that region as well.

MITY-LITE RECOGNIZES “TOP PRODUCERS” FOR ACHIEVING RECORD DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL SALES

OREM, Utah — April 21, 2008 — Mity-Lite, Inc., a recognized leading producer of durable and lightweight tables and chairs, today announced record sales for fiscal year 2008, which ended March 31, 2008. The company experienced growth of 13 percent year-over-year. In its 21st year, Mity-Lite also achieved another first with more than half of the company’s 50 sales executives selling more than $1 million each.

During an awards ceremony for the company’s sales force, Mity-Lite recognized sales executive John Erickson as its “Top Domestic Sales Producer.” Erickson achieved the highest personal domestic sales for the company at $2.8 million. International sales executive Alberto DaSilva was also honored for his achievements overseas as the company’s “Top International Sales Producer,” attaining the highest personal international sales record at $3.3 million.
